On this site you will find information and articles about the wonderful art of candle making. I myself made candles when I was young with my mother–she did it as a hobby and taught me to make them as well. I still enjoy the memories of making candles with her–and even the memories of the times I melted my crayons down and made candles out of them–talk about candle making crafts!
All in all it was a wonderful thing to learn to do at a young age; it’s very likely that I will always remember doing such things. Candle Making can be quite diverse, from the colors, to the type of wax used, and of course the smell of the candle–which is quite important as it burns. Candles are wonderful mood setters, be it in the bedroom, or at the dining table, or even a candle left burning in the window awaiting the return of a loved one.
No matter how you look at it, there is just something special about candles, they attract our attention with their flickering flames. They brightly stand in the darkness as a beacon of light to those that see them, and their scent can change the entire mood of a room. Candles are often used with meditation as well, as either a focal point for concentration or simply as an assistant to set the right mood. No matter you reason for loving candles, you will LOVE making them.
